Achieving Racial Equality in the Americas

On behalf of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas, we are pleased to invite you to attend the Achieving Racial Equality in the Americas online panel.

All over the Americas, attention has turned to the extreme racial disparities present in virtually every society. The COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting recession and endemic police violence have all hit communities of color especially hard. How has the Black Lives Matter movement affected grassroots movements elsewhere in the hemisphere? What are the political and economic steps necessary to achieve greater equality? Join us for this conversation with influential voices from within the region.
