Memes? In our Libraries?

Memes? In our Libraries? In-Person

Memes? In our Libraries?

Thursday, July 25th from 2-3pm in Marston 308

If you spend any time on the internet you’ve probably seen a meme-regardless of if you knew it or not. Memes are a useful tool to disseminate information in social spaces. Encouraging libraries to channel their institutional voices through memes on social media presents a new, more engaging avenue through which to promote our services.  This training will introduce memes and meme culture, present some of the tools that are available to make your own memes, and cover some best practices to keep in mind when making memes. Come learn about a fun, creative way to connect with students and let them know about library resources.
